Works to bring children and dog. But let's check where you put your feet some parts of the trail but very beautiful and a magically nice lake. We took 2yo and 5yo kids. A very nice hike, not too difficult, clear paths, but we had cloudy and a bit of rain, fairly cold so it could have been nicer and probably would have help rate it higher too if I'm honest.
Don't forget a dip in the lake. Cold but unforgettable! Great views. The lake at the end is average. Highly recommended! I recommend making a loop with the path further west, it allows you to see something else and above all to avoid the crowds on the main path. Excellent trail accessible for everyone. Very good route, not really marked but it is very easy to get confused by following the paths.
Nice day trip with surprises behind every bend.
